Who can use ENERGYCATCHER©?
Any Band A SEDBUK gas-fuelled domestic boiler, of whatever type or make, can be fitted with a Ravenheat ENERGYCATCHER© subject to all round consent. If the boiler is not of Ravenheat manufacture then permission needs to be obtained from the maker and Ravenheat.Ravenheat’s boilers all conform to SEDBUK Band A, which means they are over 90% efficient in converting gas to heat. Now ENERGYCATCHER, when fitted to a boiler, adds a further 5% to those efficiency ratings, which, apart from the cost of buying and installing ENERGYCATCHER©, is FREE. However ENERGYCATCHER© can be used in any house with a gas boiler, but it is perhaps most relevant to those who want to save significant cost on gas bills with minimum capital outlay.


(SEDBUK = Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK: it is the government standard for measuring the efficiency of all boilers. Band A is applied to boilers over 90% efficient, Ravenheat’s latest range of condensing boilers achieves over 95%.)
